“People who take fashion seriously are idiots.” – Joan Rivers

´Scatter My Ashes at Bergdorf's´ is a 2013 interesting documentary, directed by Matthew Miele about the luxury goods in the department store called Bergdorf Goodman, which is located on Fifth Avenue, New York.

The store holds luxury, excitement and beauty and now the audience and the ultimate in-lover in fashion have a rare opportunity to peek behind the door into the reality of fascinating interiors and incredible yet untold stories of this legendary department store. The movie showed a lot of interviews with the most incredible fashion designers, style icons, store executives and employees and celebrities, such as Karl Lagerfeld, Vera Wang, Marc Jacobs, Christian Louboutin, Oscar De La Renta, Jimmy Choo, the Olsen Twins, Alexander McQueen, Dior, Dolce&Gabbana, Prada, Fendi are just a few of them.

"If your clothes are not at that place, then they have no future. There is no future... for those clothes. Sorry." - Isaac Mizrahi

What really left me shocked in the movie was how the worlds most famous designers share their love about Bergdolfs and talking how unique that place really is. With that their ultimate goal is that their clothing lines live in that store and share its history.

"You will never find a designer that would ever say it is not part of my dream to be at Bergdorf`s" – Rachel Zoe

The Bergdolf`s is offering the best of the best and that is why the documentary is showing how important the store`s atmosphere really is, because Bergdolf `s wants the customers to spend more time there and, of course, the money.

The atmosphere inside the store is as much important as the one on the outside, and here l am talking about the store`s incredible window display to the world. Their goal is to create something unreal, something that will catch the eye of every passenger on the street and make them feel like they are in a fairy tale. And with each window display they succeed. This is also a clever strategy to attract audience and make them want to come in a store, or simply just to take pictures and enjoy its exterior beauty.
