In today's world, most people want to change something about themselves. Whether that is a nose, lips, breast, or some other part of their body. So is that an insecurity or just something we wish to do? But that thought of ours doesn't come from nothing, it comes by looking at other people who are „better looking“ then us. We love them, follow them and want to be like them.
So from that love someone has about certain celebrity, they started to question themselves why can`t l look like that? Or why can`t l be as thin as her? Or why is my butt so small? This is something that most young girls question themselves, and they became depressed because they don`t love themselves, because they think that this certain celebrity is "perfect". But it is not. Celebrity's are influencers, and they should use that power to spread self-love and positivity, not to impose an obligation how is the right way to look like.
I saw a video on YouTube the other day, this girl was talking about Kylie Jenner. But l cant remember the girl s name, but she made such a great video talking about self love. Basically she was talking how Kylie`s Instagram is full of her practically, naked body and how she is imposing to young girls her „perfect“ body. And then these girls look themselves in a mirror and all they can see are imperfections. Not to say that Kylie has done a lot of surgical work on herself, but she denies them all. But the reason she is doing that is because, on few Instagram pictures you can her promoting some product for hair, for body how to became thin and curvy and all that. Then the young girls think to themselves oh that is how she managed to achieve to look like that and then they go buy those products which are not doing anything.

I think that is really sad to see, because that is how depression and self - hate are born. I am not against Kylie or any other celebrity, but l think that is something completely wrong.

Everybody, if they decided to do some work on themselves, which is completely normal, first of all they have to love themselves and do that just for themselves. Not to brag, or to do that just because someone else did it first.
I am not saying that surgical work is an absolute no for me and l admit that. I would like one day to do some small work, but l am not in a hurry or ashamed of myself and l know i want to do that just for myself.
`To anyone who is reading this, you are perfect.`
This is from some article l found :
„Media and the fashion industry are the puppeteers controlling the audience`s true value and self – worth. They are creating an army of self – obsessed, apathetic and out of touch consumers. The people who consume and trying to attain the ideal of perfection that is rammed down their throats by the perpetrators. The media and fashion industry cannot counting their money long enough to realize the problems they are causing in society. This issue is not an new one, through history, a physical ideal of male and female beauty has been desired...“
