Everyone knows the golden rule when it comes to the topic of skincare – you need a well treated base to have a seamless makeup. A routine exactly, to have your skin under control, fresh and moisturized. I was talking a few post back about makeup, and how l`m a huge addict haha, but l never talked about the important part, skincare. Even though make up is a big part of me, skincare is bigger. And there has always been a battle between those two. For example, if l musten`t spend a curtain amount of money, should i buy a eye-shadow palette which l want so badly for so long, or should l buy something that will nourish my skin? In most cases, skincare would always win.

Skincare and its routine should be adapted on the type of skin that you have. It is bad for the skin to use a product for oily skin when you actually have a dry skin. Because the unbalanced skin is the one which is causing the most problems - acne, blackheads, whiteheads and pimples. So, the foundation of a cleansed face is thoroughly cleaning it – exfoliating. This step in your skincare is removing all the dead skin cells from your skin and let the new one grow as well as it is removing the dirt and excess oils from your face which can clog your pores and cause acne. But l am going a little fast.

The first step in your skin care should be a micellar water. I am using it in the morning and night, to remove the excess oils from sleeping all night or the ones which build up throughout the day. But on the days l have a makeup on, the first thing l use are the make up wips, to me they`re the pre - step before l wipe my foundation with the micellar water. For washing my face l use a cleanser and exfoliator which remove the makeup, and then toner to refresh the face. I use the moisturizer after that, and twice a week days l put a clay mask between those last two steps.

l`ve been in love in the Hydro Boost skincare line by Neutrogena, it has completely changed my skin

On some days l put a under eye gel, to remove the dryness and returns the moisture under the eyes ( plus, to prevent the wrinkles ), but l always forgot about it.

My advice is that once a week, take some time for yourself and try to put in your routine masks, sheet masks, or some form of treatment that will nourish the skin and prepare it for a week. l have been using for quite some time the L`oreal Pure Clay Mask and Garnier Sheet Masks, and for my skin the work amazing.

I also think it is very effective to have in skin care, is the cleansing brush, which is very gentle on the skin but at the same time very effective in removing it. Something that can be included in skincare are the serums which maintain skin moisture that is excellent for dry skin but also for other skin types that require additional hydration during temperature changes.

Skin in the largest organ that we have and it requires a lot of care, especially the face. But we should also taking a good care of it not only from the outside, but from the inside as well. Drinking water and having a good diet, is a big part in skincare. This way your skin will look fresh, rejuvenated and glossy for a log time.

Here are some tips about skincare, some of them l remind myself to do, or l try them a few times but some of them are in my weekly or daily routine that l don`t even noticed them :

always try a new product on part of your hand or neck,

avoid washing the face and showering with hot water - it drains the skin,

get a good sleep,

be consistent in your beauty routine,

change the pillowcases twice a week,

reduce too much salt intake

and the important one, stop yourself and dont touch your face!
