CARRIE BRADSHAW : NEW YORK FASHIONISTA

I think that most women have heard about this show, some of them have watched it, some of them haven't but a small part of women have been re- watched it several times, and to those l can relate, because, l admit, l am one of them. I am always coming back to this show and l watched it 5 times for sure! Sex and the City is a old show, which lasted from 1998 till 2004, it released the book, filmed two movies, one in 2008 and the second one in 2010. However, the cast will film the last, third movie in 2019, so stay tuned for that.

In shortly, the show is about 4 single women living in New York and dealing with being a woman in the 90`s. The show is not only showing their lives, relationships, friendships, sex but a high fashion as well. Carrie is a writer, Samantha is a PR publicist, Miranda is a lawyer and Charlotte is an artist. With different jobs and lives that each of them have, they share three things together : Friendship, fashion and love.

To everyone who watched the show, know that these four woman had a great sense of style. But the one we admired the most, was Carrie Bradshaw. She knew fashion like no one, and her style was very different, with crazy but sophisticated combinations, patterns and bright colors. From one article l found about Carrie, it described her style perfectly :

“ The headstrong fashionista at the center of the Sex and the City franchise has broken more style rules than we can count and has inspired us to do the same. From her tulle skirts to her masterful print-mixing, Carrie spent six seasons as the best dressed woman on television, and let's not forget the epic movie looks too. I was always admiring her bold fashion choices throughout the show – and her shoes... man, such great shoes! Even though she had shoes from probably every designer, one specific was her favorite and she continued to mention him in the movies as well - Manolo Blahnik ( which shoes brought her back to Mr. Big at the end ).

The New York setting, which is the center of fashion and style, is fitting to this show perfectly. While watching the show, It would brought me back to 90`s, and made me experience fashion in a different way. Which is distinct from the one today. Also, it thought me to express myself with my look and always stay true to my style as well as to never be afraid to show it.
