Italian fashion brand Diesel has found a way of being playful and humorous by reveling that they are the brain behind the `Deisel´ knock off boutiques. New York’s Chinatown district, known for its many `knock off ´ items, is the place where Diesel placed its stall to sell Diesel clothing at a knock off price. This pop up shop is a part of a Diesel`s #gowiththeflaw campaign to celebrate imperfection and uniqueness and to make people aware that tiny flaws should be considered unique qualities instead of a problem.

„To create an apparel line perfect for individual people who follow their own unique path in life and for those style-makers who express their individuality by the way they dress.“

According to Renzo Rosso, the founder of Diesel, imperfection makes us stand out as individuals. That is the goal Diesel is following with the `Go with the flaw´ campaign. To raise awareness for not only your unique style, but also being you and living your own and unique way. To embrace you flaws because they are your power. With that they are also sending a strong message about being `weird´ and how it is something you should not hide. Because that is you and nobody else, and that is making you unique.

`The campaign teaches us that perfection is boring and invites everyone to go with its own with remakes, with being reckless, being lazy, being nosy and even forgetful. To go with every characteristic that makes us feel and be human.´

Reactions to the knock-off boutique were actually hilarious, as you can see in the video. The funniest thing about this all is probably that the Deisel customers bought some super exclusive and one of a kind garments, designed and produced by the design team of Diesel. These pieces could be worth a lot and are probably becoming true collector items soon.

Check out the video below for the reactions.
