CONCEPTS STAGE - `HUSH´

For the third stage of the module project, the Concept stage, we had to take the feedback from out tutors and peers and move it further. We had to think that our brand idea is really happening and we had to make sure we added all the features to make this Concepts stage complete.

First of all, the name `Hush´ is connected with the mist of the air diffuser and it reminded us of relaxation as well as when you would hear the mist you would have to stop all your worries and stress and enjoy this calming moment. So we stood by our original idea to have grapefruit, cinnamon and lavender scents being released from the device in different times of the day. Grapefruit to give you a boost in the morning, cinnamon to give you a motivational kick in the midday and lavender to conclude the day and give you a relaxing atmosphere in the evening. All in all a spiritual mood throughout the whole day.

We aimed this to be for hard working individuals, who are stressed and under pressure and they don`t have much time to relax so they need a product that’s practical, portable, easy to use and is going to help them in every step of the day. And did l mention that mental health and stress are two of the biggest concerns for working individuals? So, while working in the office, this device will adjust your surrounding by having a modern, minimalist, but futuristic design as we were still behind the idea of being gender neutral at this point. Also we decided to add a app control/ voice control ability so that it can be activated and controlled on the most easiest way possible.

We found out that there is a gap in the market for technologically advanced fragrance devices so that makes out product unique and nothing like it is made on the market. So, we found that we could create a brand that meets this gap whilst also improving the day-to-day lives of stressed professionals.
